Kate Brehme is an Australian independent curator and arts educator based in Berlin. She has worked in Australia, Scotland and Germany on a variety of projects, exhibitions and events and runs Contemporary Art Exchange, a curatorial platform for international projects, exhibitions and events providing professional development opportunities for emerging and young artists. Her project and research themes include place and cultural identity, labour and work, globalization, disability and socially engaged practices. Kate is also a lecturer for NODE Center for Curatorial Studies and the founder of Coffee, Curating and Cultural Management, a series of monthly drop in discussion events for Berlin-based curators and cultural managers. 

Kate participated in The Curatorial Marathon in 2015 and 2018.
