Eva Eicker is recently based in Berlin and has a background in curation and publications such as the ongoing series Day X with Laura Braun (Paper Tiger Books). Eva has worked in the Programming Team at The Photographers’ Gallery, London, from 2012 to mid 2017 where she curated the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize amongst other exhibitions. She has worked for institutions such as C/O Berlin; Magnum Photos, London; Haus der Kunst, Munich; and The Museum of Modern Art, New York City. Since her Postgraduate studies in Cultural Anthropology (2006) at Ludwig-Maximilan University Munich as well as the MA in Photography and Urban Culture (2009) at Goldsmiths College, London, Eva focusses on social and cultural issues for critical engagement within contemporary photography.
