Jeremiah Day studied art at the University of California, Los Angeles and subsequently at the Rijksakademie von beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam. Visual artist, Jeremiah is also trained in movement, working regularly with the pioneer of postmodern dance Simone Forti. His work establishes a montage/narrative form, where political and personal realities intertwine through different techniques, including photography, video and movement, in an idiosyncratic mode of commemoration and critique.
Jeremiah is represented by Ellen de Bruijne Projects in Amsterdam and Arcade, London where he presently has a two person exhibition with Dapper Bruce Lafitte.
