Teena Lange (DE)
Teena Lange is Performance Art Curator, Researcher & Artistic Director of Grüntaler9—a space towards the performative. She is Co-Founder and Vice President of APAB – Association for Performance Art Berlin. Since 2016 she is a member of the Berlin Arts Council (Rat für die Künste). She studied Theatre & Performance Studies, Linguistics & Literature in Leipzig, Paris and Berlin. As a Program Coordinator and Research Associate she worked at the International Research Center “Interweaving Performance Cultures” at the Freie Universität Berlin. Additionally, she gave seminars & lectures at the Freie Universität Berlin, University of Istanbul, Lithuanian University Vilnius, Concordia Montréal and University of Toronto. Her work includes (performance) art projects for Grüntaler9 Berlin, nGbK Berlin, Savvy Con- temporary Berlin, Month of Performance Art Berlin, Project Space Festival Berlin, Berlin Art Week, Brooklyn International Performance Art Festival New York, performance space London, Musrara Mix Festival Jerusalem, Supermarket Stockholm, Poppositions Brussels, Bern Biennale, Espace El Galpon Lima and more.
Teena was appointed the curator for PICTURE BERLN Summer Session 2017. Teena has been a part of PB since 2016.
