Florian Wüst (DE)

Florian Wüst studied Fine Arts at the Braunschweig School of Art and received his MA from the Piet Zwart Institute for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Willem de Kooning Academy Hogeschool Rotterdam. Recent curatorial projects include: “Jail-break”, Impakt Festival, Utrecht (2011); “Crashing Markets”, 25 fps International Festival of Experimental Film and Video, Zagreb (2010); “Generation Berlin Wall. Experimental Film from East Germany and West Berlin in the 1980s”, Tate Modern, London (2009) (co-curated with Claus Löser and Maxa Zoller). Florian is author and co-editor of “Who says concrete doesn’t burn, have you tried? West Berlin Film of the ‘80s” (Berlin 2008) and ExperienceMemoryRe-enactment (Frankfurt am Main/Rotterdam 2005). Florian is a Berlin based artist and independent film curator. 

Florian has worked with PICTURE BERLIN since 2010.
