Alexandra Freye lives and works as a visual artist in Berlin, Germany.

In her art, she probes the relationship between lines, surfaces and spatiality.

For her artistic practise, she takes inspiration from traces of movement, found object materials and from phenomenological philosophy of space.

Alexandra Freye 'draws' with thread. She builds thread reliefs, spatial drawings and creates installations with found objects she encompasses with thread.

In terms of her video art, she connects film footage with analog elements and drawings.
