Amelia Eskenazi is a non-binary queer photographer whose work deals with themes such as disorientation and the disruption of singular represen- tations of queerness. In addition to their studio practice, Eskenazi works as a freelance photographer. Their work has been in a variety of shows across the United States including The Le Sigh’s Platonic Intimacy, (2017) in New York City, Strange Fire Collective’s Call and Response: Art as Resistance, (2017–2018) in Seattle and Denver, The 2017 Joyce Elaine Grant Photogra- phy Exhibition in Denton Texas, and Darkroom Gallery’s In Dreams, (2016) in Essex Vermont. They are currently a pursuing a BA at Colorado College in Feminist and Gender Studies with a focus on queer studies and photography.
