In a wild garden in Berlin’s Mitte district, HOSTING is a material and discursive exploration of symbionts, parasites, and other relations. Viewing the subject matter from political, biological, economical and social perspectives, HOSTING is an artistic platform that, over the course of a month, stages a broad spectrum of events, from garden salon, exhibition, and artist talks, to the curatorial marathon, They Shoot Horses, Don’t They? ––an evening event at which nine international Berlin based curators talk about their practice.
