Lorena JUAN curatorial practice includes working with experimental formats, public space and collaborative processes. She is a curator at the digital arts and culture festival transmediale and organizer of the anonymous art contest in public spaces and municipal transportation “Kunst Im Untergrund” at nGbK. Lorena is the co-founder of COVEN BERLIN, a queer feminist interdisciplinary artists platform focusing on the intersection of environment, racialization, migration, class and gender. In 2021, COVEN BERLIN was awarded the prize for artistic project spaces and initiatives by the Ministry of Culture, Berlin. Lorena earned her doctorate in Gender Studies at the Universidad de Salamanca, Spain, in 2017.
