After her degree in Communication-Design and a major in photography from Univesity of Applied Sciences Berlin, Julia Osskó joined the Corporate & Special Projects Department at Magnum Photos in Paris. One year later Julia went on to work for Lumas Galleries in Berlin, which she carefully set up side by side with the founding team. During her stay she was responsible for the selection of artists for the gallery program, the launch of the US flagship store in NYC and the gallery’s Public Relations Management. Since spring 2010 Julia has been supporting the German Market Development of Blurb, a innovative publishing service that enables creatives to self-publish high quality books. She lives in Berlin and continues to work with emerging and established photographers and artists.
