Arielle Bier a US/UK freelance art writer, critic and curator based in Berlin. She regularly contributes to contemporary art publications such as Artforum, Art-Agenda, Artsy, Frieze, Metropolis M, and Modern Painters, among others.

Bier received a BA in Cultural Anthropology, Globalisation Politics and Art History from the Gallatin School of Individualised Studies at New York University, and MFA from the International Center of Photography–Bard College Program in Advanced Photographic Studies in New York City.
