Ines LECHLEITNER (AT)
Ines Lechleitner (*1978 in Vienna) is an artist using a varity of mediums such as photography, performance, sound, video, drawing and scent. Her research focuses on systems of nonverbal communication and aims for situations of interdisciplinary dialogue. She was a researcher at the Jan Van Eyck Academy in Maastricht (NL) and studied in the ENSBA in Paris (FR) and NSCAD in Halifax (CA).
A selection of some of her past shows include: Walverwandschaft, Galerie Kunstbüro, Vienna, 2016; I have always imagined that paradise would be some kind of library (Friends with Books), Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin; The Inner Acoustic, Errant Bodies, Berlin, 2015; PER/FORM, CA2M Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo, Madrid, 2014; Imagine Two Rivers, Galerie für Landschaftskunst, Hamburg; Platzwechsel, Galerie Nagel Draxler, Cologne, 2013. She is a member of Errant Bodies sound art group, Berlin.
