Susanne Husse (DE) is a curator and cultural researcher in Berlin. Since 2012 she works as artistic director for District Berlin, a space for contemporary cultural practices and research at the intersection of art and other fields of knowledge. Recent projects: The Forgotten Pioneer Movement (with Ulrike Gerhardt, 2014) a performative historiography, a fictional movement based on the views of a generation grown up at the end of the Cold War. dissident desire (with Lorenzo Sandoval, since 2013) on the resilient performativity of body-knowledge. Since 2011 she co-runs the nomadic project space Note On with Ulrike Gerhardt and Imke Kannegießer for which she co-curated the performance and video program Crampographies at KW Institute for Contemporary Art (2014). She worked as producer and curatorial associate at Neuen Berliner Kunstverein (n.b.k.) with Ute Meta Bauer on the exhibition The Future Archive (2012) and with Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung, Elena Agudio and Storm Janse van Rensburg on the art and research project Giving Contours To Shadows (2014). In 2012 she was awarded with the curatorial research grant of the Goethe Institut for her research on collective art production and urban activisim in South Korea. She worked as a lecturer for art in public space at Kunsthochschule Weißensee and the summer academy of the Vilnius Academy of Art.
