Hsuan Hsuan Wu (b. 1979) born in Taipei, Taiwan, received an MFA in Photography and Related Technology at Parsons the New School for Design in New York. After graduation in 2005, she went to Vermont Studio Center for an artist-in-residency program and had her first solo show there. She has been doing image-related works ever since. Her works have been shown at various internati- onal art exhibitions such as HEA- VEN, 2nd Athens Biennale (2009); SEEN/UNSEEN at NURTURE ART Gallery in New York (2009); Eattopia, Taiwan International Video Art Exhibition (2011); SEE | ME EXPOSURE in New York (2013); TIVA (Taiwan International Video Art), Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts (2013). And solo show WITH/IN at Treignac Projet in France (2011), and Your Vegetable Existence at BF Gallery, Taipei, (2012). Her work was also publis- hed in Parabol AM The You-As-Me Issue in Austria (2008). Wu has participated in the Culture Diversity Studio Artists Residency in 2015 and 2016, and published the book "GOOD DONGJU- WOMEN, RED LEES AND DONGJU ISLAND" in 2019. Hsuan Hsuan Wu now lives and works in Taipei, Taiwan.
