INTERIORS TO BEING takes visitors and invited artists into an intimate encounter within the homes, gardens and streets of Berlin as well as the lives of strangers. 

April Gertler was one of seven curators for INTERIORS TO BEING. Her chapter in the series, titled IN SEARCH OF THE MIRACULOUS, consisted of seven psycho-geographical guided walks through different areas of Berlin. Each walk focused on one neighborhood, which was then discussed, explored, and celebrated by one artist. The artists turned their focus to narrating stories interwoven with history and their own artistic practice. Each exploratory walk lasted approximately three hours and lead through a part of town chosen by the artist.
