Sophie Capron studied at Winchester School of Art (BA Hons Textile), during which she did textile training in Japan. Sophie’s work focuses on the environment and it’s ever evolving state, using reclaimed materials within her paintings. In 2017, she exhibited in the International Biennale ‘Women in Contemporary Art’, in France. Alongside her artist practice, she has been an active member of the Cornish artistic community, founding a series of pop-up art exhibitions under the banner Scattered Art. Sophie is currently represented by Artwavewest, Dorset and exhibits internationally.
