Laura W. Schneider (b. 1984) is based in Brooklyn, New York, working across media to explore memory and the construction of personal realities. She received her Bachelor’s from Carleton College (2007) in Art History and Studio Art. Laura received a Master’s in Art Education from New York University (2011) and is currently pursuing an MFA at The City College of New York. Laura has been teaching art since 2011 and has exhibited her work in New York including Grey Art Gallery, Trestle Gallery, and as part of the annual Wide Open exhibition and competition. She has enjoyed a residency at Brooklyn Art Space (2012) and participating in Sing For Hope’s public art installation (summer 2013).
