Daniela (b. 1996) is an artist and photographer born in Peru and raised between Lima and Australia. She received her B.F.A. in Film & Television and Comparative Literature from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, in New York and Abu Dhabi.
Rivera Antara creates conceptually-based emotionally driven photography, evocative of sensations and dreams, working primarily with natural light which reflects her background in classical painting with strong influences from the renaissance period.
Her work aims to empower an individuals self determination and identity through a non traditional and non linear cinematic approach which brings forth her influences in Latin American literature and world cultures.
She interned at The Guardian in the Global Development desk and with The Observer New Review before going into photography.
